Comfort's Philosophy The Comfort Team believes that by using the most advanced equipment we are able to achieve the highest level of comfort for each patient's need. The prosthetist/orthotist is an integral part of the rehabilitation team responsible for returning a patient to a productive and meaningful life following a catastrophic event, such as the loss of a limb, or the cumulative effects of a congenital nerve debilitating disease, such as Spina Bifida. The education, skills and technical knowledge required to handle such cases are extensive, complex and sophisticated, and require considerable training. When so much is at stake, the public requires assurance that the clinical facility and the practitioner have the means to completely fulfill their responsibilities to the patient.
